Hi!
I'm Chris,
A Bit About Me
Welcome to Foodie's Life!
My name is Chris and I am a registered dietitian. But before pursuing a career in nutrition, I was training to become a pastry chef! Who would have thunk?! Although these two jobs can appear to be total opposites, my work as a pastry chef has helped me develop a better relationship with food. I truly believe that decadent desserts can be part of a healthy lifestyle.

Working with food has also allowed me to experience international cuisines, cultures and cooking styles. I have continued to learn about various cultural practices through working in the community with clients from all over the world. Being born in India and having a partner from Hong Kong, I am well versed in Indian and Chinese cuisine. Thankfully, the diversity in Toronto has allowed me to get a taste of many countries – from idiyappam to jollof rice, jerk chicken to saganaki, I love it all!
Philosophy
As cliché as it sounds, change does not happen overnight. Slow and steady change is a more sustainable route to achieve optimal health.

My aim is to help you develop positive health habits and improve your overall mindset and relationship with food.
I believe in the importance of preserving food traditions, recipes, cooking, ingredients, and preferences when making nutrition recommendations. We will work together to target your unique lifestyle and create realistic changes to address your health and wellness goals.
